6th Day Home – 03.31.07
What a day of travel. The same storm that flooded Block Creek went to Dallas later that night and closed the airport sending both Laurie & I again on a wild journey. Finally at 3pm I saw the all to familiar landscape around Reno. I was greeted by an amazing display of Sierra Waves, what we call the long, lenticular clouds that form on the Eastside with high winds. This was a cool one I photographed at 10,000 feet on approach. Where am I right now? I’m back on my way to Reno, flying out way too early to Boston and right back into the storm that caused the flight woes of yesterday. I was home for 18hrs and now traveling again. Hope to cya at Photoshop World, it will be great fun.
