It's days like this, being home is great!
The snow is falling, there’s not a sound to be heard, the fire’s warmth fills the room, I love days like this! There’s a certain romance, calmness and life that comes over the Sierra when the snow falls and it’s great for reading and writing. They say that the great writers were great readers and while I’ll never make the great writing mark, I do love to read. I find it opens all sorts of doors. One days like this, books like After Effects CS4 get left on the table and I pick up John Muir or other great romantic nature writers. It doesn’t take too long when I read something that strikes a cord and then I’m off to do some writing myself. It’s just a great way to stop and smell the roses.
Wanta thank the hundreds of you who have written in after reading our current BT Journal that just was mailed out. It would seem the bears affected you as well, that’s cool. It’s just that “foot thing” that seems to not have struck a cord. Go figure.
This photo was taken right out of our office deck, looking down into the forest behind our home. It’s a great inspiration. Finishing was a simple trip to Nik Silver Efex Pro, taking the Structure to 100% and the Contrast to 30.
