There is no better place for the soul, and photography than Corkscrew Swamp. We’ve spent I don’t know how many weeks at this sanctuary for good reason, it’s great! While the water levels are lower than normal, the activity at the Lettuce Lakes are still spectacular. Getting in at first light and heading to one of the lakes and just parking is a great stratigy for getting the shot. This Great Blue Heron point blank is a simple shot to make in these conditions. Take a look. Warning, no commentary, just the event.
