Nikon DTown Premiers!

I kid you not, here’s it is, hot off the presses. Heck, it’s not been “officially” announced yet. You’re getting on the bandwidth first…Nikon DTown New Weekly Nikon DSLR Tips Show Launches Today Big News: I’m proud to announce that we’ve partnered with Nikon to bring you a new weekly show for Nikon DSLR shooters called “Nikon D-Town” (The name will make sense after you watch the show’s intro). The show, co-hosted with my good friend and Nikon shooter Matt Kloskowski, airs online each Thursday, and you can watch the premiere episode right here (below). I just received the latest version of the Better Beamer from Walt for the SB-900 and it is by far the best fitting version I’ve ever used. It’s great, it doesn’t slip down or move in the wind.

Capturing the moment

Timing is everything! One thing I had to adjust to when shooting with the D3x was the slower fps. I found I’ve gotten lazy shooting the D3’s 9fps and not thinking about the action to make the shot with one shot.

Photoshop World is just around the corner

Oh my, it’s that time again, the panic in producing the Art of Digital presentation. No, no, I mean the exhausting days of fun. No, no, no, the sore cheeks from smiling so much. No, no, no, no, I mean my sides hurting from laughing so much. That’s it, that’s Photoshop World! Photoshop World is simply the greatest thing on this planet for the creative soul. Sharon & I count the days to each and every one of them, this being my 12th and I know it will be the best. I’ll be teaching a couple of classes during the conference, Nice Glass and And Then There Was Light (this is the one with the 11 stop technique I’ve talked about here on the blog). Nice Glass is NOT a class on lenses, but rather lenses and how they make YOUR style of photography come to life. I’ll also be doing portfolio reviews and I’m sure a whole lot more.
