It’s Hard to Leave
On the road again, heading to NYC to have fun with the gang at Adorama. I actually have a show ready to go, bringing a little critter action to the city. It was actually hard to keep on schedule to get to the airport, Mono Lake was in one of those rare moods. There are times when the blue skies reflect just right in its waters making them looking almost Hawaiian. It was one of those times.
Then I turned around to look at the cliff behind me and saw these killer clouds. I’m a sucker for killer clouds and went on a brief hike trying to find something to put with them. I knew it would be a B&W image so the foreground just needed an interesting texture, no real detail. As we drove through Walker Cyn the clouds turned a great pink but there was nothing to put with them, so just had to enjoy them for the moment. It’s hard to leave home!
