A walk on Broadway
Sharon & I took to the streets of NY on our day off. We had no design on the day other than just watching life go by. We started by going to Time Square where the pulse of life is simply infectious. On one of the hottest days of the year so far, Sharon & I sat in the Red Chairs and just watched. Of course, the camera was in hand. Working with my HDR technique again to blur all the life, I got a little closer but still not perfect. But it sure did do justice to the lights of Broadway at highnoon.
After heading down to Battery Park and amazing entertainment watching a really, really bad wedding photographer do his bridal shots with the bride backlit and using no fill, we headed back up to Flatiron Bldg to watch the afternoon parade of life. Then we decided to head up to the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Bldg. It was just a nice way to finish off our visit to the Big Apple. It was great, can’t wait until we’re back in November!
