We filmed HOW Many Videos Today?

We’re wrapping up our mammoth fall road trip (starting 15 Sept) in grand fashion with our friends at Kelby Training. With the huge response to those videos we’ve already created and that are posted, we came down to make more. There’s only one guy when it comes to the making of videos I want to work with, we just call him Scriv.

This movie requires Flash Player 9

Now to know Scriv is to love Scriv. While many perceive him as a worry wart, perfectionist and a panic attack waiting to happen, I know him as just this video creative genius. Video is SO much more work than stills because you have to build so much more into the presentation for the story to come across. But after seeing the infamous “Bison Commercial,” one knows this guy and knows he knows his stuff which is why I only work with him. But, it comes at a price (the creative secret, note the director)!

After shooting not 1, not 2 but EIGHT videos in one day, this is what happened to my poor friend Scriv. And the really bad news, we’re not done!

The top photo is a Jpeg saved out from a video clip made by the D3s. This is a feature in the Video Editing menu in the D3s. This is a “Fine” Jpeg and in the video creating process, being able to save out a Jpeg from the clip is a very cool and creative thing. One of the videos we shot was on the D3s. It should be posted shortly so keep tuning into Kelby Training to check it out. It will have you up and using this new tool in snap!
