When you first open the iBook app, the app will automatically download the rest of the 1.5 gigabytes of the book. During this time, we strongly recommend using a high speed internet connection through a hotspot and leaving the app open. Download times can vary greatly upon using a cellular network, iPad, and/or by simply closing the app. After the download finishes and the book opens, a network connection is not required to view the book, but certain links in the book do require internet access.

Taking Flight Love Notes from App Store Reviewers:
(Some of these are from reviewers all over the world, not visible in the U.S. App Store)
This is a great book! As an experienced aviation photographer myself it was great to see how Moose “hey folks!” Peterson explained his post processing techniques with the aviation subject in mind. Even the basic adjustments are interesting since he approaches the process different than I was used to do. So very inspirational and eye opening to me. As for future chapters I would love to know how Moose edits the engines and the ever challenging full discs of prop blur like on the awesome cover shot. Well done Moose!
Moose and his son Brent have managed to write what I feel is surley going to be a definitive app for Aviation Photography. The information contained within this app is invaluable for someone who is beginning or to a seasoned vet of the genre. I am running this app on an iPad 2 and the photography is still stunning. The one recommendation that I would give is to have the ability to enlarge the print if needed. I have found that the font used in the app is difficult to read at times given its fixed size and having the ability to enlarge the print would be helpful. The video content is extremely well done and is immediately applicable to your aviation phtography. I would recommend this book / app to all interested in taking their aviation photography to the next level.
This is way more than a book. This is an adventure.
