The MC-36 is a really cool tool that I use primarily as an intervalometer. Yeah, the D2X/D2Hs have one built in. I find the MC-36 makes the setting of settings and engaging the timer a whole lot easier. The D200 has a built in intervalometer but with limited settings, so the MC-36 is essential.
