space

Nikon D2HsThis is one sweet camera!
It is my main workhorse body for wildlife photography. What does it bring to me that makes it special? It’s fps of 8+, a buffer holding 40 and files that are smaller so storage space is not a crunch. Does the lower number of megapixels hurt? Not in the least! I’ve made plenty of money off images taken with the D2Hs and that includes gallery prints. Is noise a factor when deciding between the D2X or D2Hs? No, since I deal with noise issues at point of capture I can minimize it with the D2Hs in low light situations.

The D2Hs while it gets plugged onto the 600mm a lot, it also serves as my over the shoulder, handheld body. It rides the majority of the time on my shoulder while in the field. The 200f2VR is what you’ll most often find plugged on to it.

It is updated with the latest firmware. I have found that the AF performance especially in lower light levels is improved. The D2Hs is my wildlife photography workhorse.
