DC-6 captured by Z 9 / Z180-600
One of the aircraft I was truly looking forward to seeing in flight was Redbull’s DC-6 at Osh ’26. It did not disappoint! The wildfire smoke in the air brought a unique glow to the fuselage (that I’m glad I don’t have to polish!). I wish I had the ability to accurately record the sound of those four engines, but all the excitement of the crowd overwhelmed the mic. It only made a couple of passes, way too few we all agreed. But wow, just wow … that’s going out in style!
