I know, it’s Monday but I have so many questions, I thought I would answer some randomly since they are not as GearHead oriented as most but still great questions. So here’s this weeks questions ….<\/p>\n My question is short Moose and is more for video aspects of photography than the stills. I have noticed over the years you have utilized many different services to bring us the “Moose’s videos” and “Moose cam’ series. Recently I see that you have a really clean interface on your videos that are also branded. What software in the digital darkroom do you use to achieve this? As an aside Moose, I have learned more to further my photography from watching your educational videos and blog videos that anything I could have learned in a book. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! <\/em> Patrick, you actually ask a question whose answer is very much a work in progress kind of answer. This past week, been trying to clean up all the technical issues having recording my Sharpness series. We’ve reshot them a couple of times now to first fix the sound issue and once that was solved, ended up with two others which I now (finger crossed) think are fixed (shooting stills is so much easier!). So the production end has the D4<\/a> as main camera with the 70-180mc<\/a>, Nikon V2<\/a> as 2nd body with Sennheiser ew 112-p G3 Camera Mount Wireless Microphone System<\/a> with Tram TR50 Lav Mic<\/a> as the sound. These vids are brought into Premier for editing. Brent just produced the new bumper which I really like which is dropped in first, then the title slide and then finally the video that was recorded. Then the finished sequence is Encoded and uploaded to YouTube <\/a>for distribution.<\/p>\n Up until the end of 2013, our 400 videos were hosted by Blip.tv (and some are still on iTunes<\/a> as podcasts) which permitted you to create the clean interface I believe you’re asking about. Blip.tv kicked us out as our content didn’t measure up to their standards. With that being the case and with so many of our videos being so “old,” we’re working to recreate some content and create some new that will all have the same polished look as its starting point.
