What about the D600?

I’ve been flooded with emails and phone calls asking what I think about the D600. Folks should know, if I had any thoughts, I’d put them here. The D600 arrived as I was heading out the door on the last trip so all I’ve gotten to do is charge the battery and put in my initial settings. I like the feel of it, that’s about all I can report so far. I also just, just received the J2 (I had forgotten I had request that camera as well). Now that’s one funky feeling camera! I’ve charged its battery and set initial settings and that’s about it. I’ll be on the road for the next 3 weeks straight and they will be along for the ride. As I shoot with them and have any conclusion thoughts, I’ll post them here. In the meantime, all I can really report is that I do have them.

I CAN’T wait for this! It’s going to be fun, it’s going to be great photography, it’s going to be fall and it’s going to be with models! Unique University has us coming back for a Friday night presentation (all new) and Saturday shoot. My dear friend and Olympic shoot Jeff Cable will be joining me so come and have fun. And you just might learn a trick or two :-)
