I managed to break Stephanie loose from her latest modernization of the office to take her on her first Sierra storm chase. This is where we started. She liked!

The 70-200VR2 really is a gorgeous lens. But, is it the right tool for you? I’ve written what seems like a bunch on it, but here’s a couple of thoughts for you.

If I were a Greater Sage Grouse, I’d turn my back on man too! Seriously, this is a species extinct in much of it’s former range, dwindling in those places it can still find a home that is politically a species that all politicians would love to disappear. Yet, being a stubborn bird, they just won’t go away.

I kinda feel I’m preaching to the choir here on the site, so I don’t pound away on what I feel are important environmental issues on the site like I use to. I rather get folks involved with their wild heritage by more subtle methods such as purty pictures and some romantic words. But this issue and this species as you know following this site are particularly important to me. So, I’m taking time out of the normally transmitted signal and interrupting it with this simple message. I know times are tough, but even with that, we still can make a difference that all generations can thank us for long after we’re gone!
