You could think of this as one massive critique, a crit of my and YOUR images. What went wrong that we can learn and correct at the point of capture? What can’t we improve at point of captured but can in post? What do you need to know from post to make the click better? Hell, what about light? Here it is plain and simple, I want to help folks with their photography and the vehicle we’re going to use in this class is Photoshop to help improve your captures! Did you know you can use Curves in Photoshop to learn about Exposure Compensation in the camera? If not, then you might wanna attend. We’ve added our next class dates, 8/9 Oct, 2011 and will be adding more as the need to learn is a constant one. The camera and the computer, they go hand in hand and knowledge of both is so important I feel to get what you see and feel reaching the heartstrings you’re sharing your photography with. And that’s the end game to all of this, grabbing heartstrings.
Wanna learn more….click here…or simply call WRP @760.924.8632 or 661.204.1506 to register. Dates 16/17 July & 8/9 Oct 2011 with more dates coming.

Our home in the Eastern Sierra is one of the great photographic treasures. We’re very pleased to be able to continue on with our Eastern Sierra Adventures by announcing our Spring, April 21-24, 2011. With snow already on the ground, we will have an amazing spring and great photography. Now the exact locations we’ll visit during our adventure I really don’t know until the day before in part because it’s the weather in the Sierra that makes it so magnificent, put here are some of the possibilities.

I can’t get over the response we’ve had to our first Air2Air Workshop with folks even from Europe coming to join us (we only have a few openings right now). We have an amazing workshop planned for you with the prize in our Air-to-Air photography a B-25 Mitchell escorted by a Blue-nosed Bastard P-51D Mustang (as long as they are flying, they do need maintenance so no guarantee). As backup, we’ll have to do with a B-17. In Nov., we had nine different aircraft in our two hours or air-to-air shooting, amazing! We have other aircraft scheduled for the other air-to-air (like a possible TA-4 Skyhawk) as well as a sunset/sunrise static shoots extravaganza! You’ll be learning everything from the art of air-to-air to the exposure and composition romance to digital darkroom and a whole lot more! (can you tell I’m excited?!) Along with Richard VanderMuelen, we even have one of the best air-to-air pilots in the business, Doug Rozendaal as not only one of our pilots but as an instructor. Hot damn, have we packed this thing!

So here’s the deal. At PSW last week Sharon, Jake & I were just pounded, pounded with folks asking, begging really us to add an additional week to our Yellowstone Adv in 2011. We love Yellowstone, that’s not the issue, it’s that sun of a gun, time. Well, we got back in the office, broke out the calendar and started juggling.
[swf]http://www.moosepeterson.com/swf_imgs/Bison9944.swf, 585, 444 [/swf]
The bottomline is we were able to add a 2nd week to our 2011 Yellowstone Adventure. We have 7 folks on the waiting list for 2011, you have been sent an email asking if you want to join in this 2nd week. We will be signing up folks first come so, once the world sees this, we have 5 open slots for as long as they last. With just one vehicle and our permit, the possibilities are limited by only one thing, time. We’re in the park before the sun rises and out by the glow of headlights. The party is limited to just five (with staff of 3). You spend your entire day with Moose (yeap, stuck in the same van with him) receiving one on one instruction for probably more time than you want. It is cold, it is white, it is long days and it is a lot of photography! The 2nd week dates are 14-18 Feb, 2011, price is $4295 (half down to reserve spot) and includes instruction, snow coach transport into the park and lunch. 760.924.8632
