On man, is this question filling up my email box! And to save you time, I don’t have that answer yet as I’ve not seen the D750. And not having knowledge of the D750, I’ve gone full on with the D810 and the announcement of the D750 has me scratching my head like many of you. To make any relevance to my thoughts to your own photography, keep in mind that my primary camera is the D4s and secondary camera is the Df. The D810 / D750 would be as Lindsay states so well in this video, is to fill an unique whole in my bag. In this case, bigger file stills & video.
Here are the base stats for these bodies, all FX format:

So by simply looking at these basic specs, I can see where the D750 fits in perfectly to my bag if, if I don’t include the D810. Now the D750 does not have small Raw where the D810 does. The D750 has the swivel LCD for video which the D810 does not have. The D750 has Wifi (with added accessory for FTP) like the Df which the D4s and D810 does not. That has become important to me getting images quickly to a client while in the field. Sooooooo the D750 is lookin really good to me. The big question, which I don’t have the answer for myself yet, and it’s the biggie is, what is the D750 image quality? I don’t need it for high ISO, I have the Df for that. Don’t want it for my primary, have the D4s for that. I need that body to fill in the hole of bigger file quality and the primary video body. After watching Lindsay’s video who I have a TON of respect for, I simply can’t wait to get my hands on the D750. It might be perfect for our work for less dough. And that’s a good thing.
