New 80-400 AF is FAST!! Apr 4, 2013 | Field Reports I am IMPRESSED by the AF speed and SHARPENSS of the 80-400AFS! It had NO problem focusing on anything flying by the lens. Here is a 10 frame burst from the D4 and as you can see, it locked on and delivered sharp images the whole burst.
