Great Blue Heron captured by D6 / 180-400VR
Located in Texas, Caddo Lake is literally like no other place I’ve ever been too. Caddo Lake is a 25,400-acree lake and bayou, a massive “man made” lake containing many wonders and that’s what we’re going to photograph. There are two shots I always wanted to have in my library, the one above and the one below. On our first visit to Caddo Lake, I was fortunate to get them both but I know I can do better. And there are so many new subjects I didn’t even photograph is why I’m going back and want to invite you to join me!

The dates 04-09 Nov, 2023 are for a number of reasons. The first are the birds, fall migrants are on the lake, waterfowl and wading birds galore. The second is fall color blankets the forests lining and IN the lake. The reflections are doing to be amazing! We explore this photo rich environments each morning for four hours with a great captain who has been exploring Caddo for decades. We’re on a great photo platform as we cruise the waters. The combination puts us in the right place at the right time like the sunrise photo above. Notice the water is a mirror and we’re in a boat. That takes skill! And in my mind, this is a two lens Adventure, Z400 & Z24-120. The price includes transportation once you land in Dallas until you’re taken back, boat and captain/guide, education and entertainment is $2750. I am taking four shooters only, all the seats we have on the boat.

Half is do upon registration, the balance is due 30 days prior. You get a sense of the photographic possibilities by heading here. To register, give Sharon a call 406 .240 .3503 (9-5MST). Look forward to shooting with you!
