This Saturday – I Have a DD Webinar- Join Me!

Come and join us online, properly socially distancing as we celebrate photography in the digital darkroom! I’ll be doin another online class with Precision Camera 23 May and the doors are open. Here are the basics:

You want the best possible photograph. Remember that it begins and ends when you go “click” with the camera! With that said, our cameras are what I loving refer to as “cold, heartless bastards.” There is no setting for romance and no slider for passion. You have to bring that to your photograph, and that is often done in post — in the digital darkroom. Finishing your photographs – not fixing – is what we’ll be covering in this special, fun webcast.

I’ll start with how the photograph was taken, knowing what would need to be done in post to finish it and then, actually going into Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop. I’ll go over how if I can’t get an image finished in two minutes, I will abandon it. We’ll cover the three things most important in our finishing – speed, quality, and flexibility. Most importantly, I’ll provide you lots of tools to simplify your finishing. It’s going to be brilliant – can’t wait to share it all with you!

Moose Podcast #185 “Let’s Talk Opportunity” pt3

In this episode “Let’s Talk Opportunity” pt3
The #1 reason talented photographers tell me they don’t try to get published is because of the lack of time! Most now have not only time on their hands, but there is a real need for you to share your story. In Part 1, we’re going to go over how YOU get your photographs published!
