ME DLWS day 2 – 10.09.07

What a great group of folks! They have so much energy and desire to shoot, I’m not getting much shooting in and no time to blog what I have shot. This is a photo from this morning’s sunrise shoot at Cadillac Mtn. It was gorgeous, it was cold and it was windy. What a great morning!

You can see more images from our ME DLWS event and Laurie’s blog, Josh’s Blog and Kevin’s new blog. They’re having to pick up my slack!

This has been one heck of a day! We’re in Bar Harbor ME for our current DLWS event (1st of 2 in two weeks). We have just a great, great group of folks who are just working us too death as they pursue their photographic goals. Some great images were made today focusing on Jordan Pond (seen above) and at Bass Harbor.

The magic of the fall color grabbed my attentions. The top image is a simple down the shore photo taken with a 200VR. I came in closer on the fall color with the middle photo which are leaves under water, about three inches. The varying degree of sharpness I could see with my eyes kinda reminded me of the effect of the Lens Baby. This photo was captured with the 105VR. Finally, I came in close on one fall leaf and the drop of rain that had collected at its tip. This image was also taken with the 105VR. The color gets more and more intense each day we’re hear. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
