I shoot a lot of video with the D3s, the problem is having the time to get it streamed together and out to you. It’s so time consuming. This is a little piece I shot a couple months back and is just another side of wildlife photography that happens. Give it a gander, hope it puts a smile on your day.

We experienced our first below zero temps of the season this week and that always provides photographic opportunities (along with childish fun). At -1 the Hoar Frost appeared so the 105VR came out for some quick pics.

Yeap, all this was found along the edge of our bird bath. Simple clicks with cold hands = warm heart!

I love my “job” because I’m constantly getting new “stuff” to test and evaluate. That “stuff” that solves a problem for my photography, I get to share with you and this is just such a “stuff.” PSKiss has come out with a suite of plugins that work with the little known Pixel Bending extensions in Photoshop. The one I’m showcasing today is the one I like the most, Edge Gear. Give the vid a gander and see why and how I’m using it.

I think the 24-120AFS is so hot, we filmed this segment in 10degree temps (seriously!). The more time I spend with the 24-120AFS, the more I’m really turning to it and finding it as a valuable tool! I think the video says it best, but I’ve come to rely on the 24-120AFS for a lot of day to day photography and entirely for my aviation photography. I’ve come to really depend on this lens.
