There is nothing finer, sweeter or more essential to my photography than the 600VR. Here’s the next in the Gear Series.
I’m am a little tardy on updating my Moose’s Camera Bag. Like the 70-300VR and 45PC are not posted there yet. Today I just added the Gitzo GT5560SGT which is a gorgeous tripod that reachs the top of the Statue of Liberty. It’s now the new support forthe 600VR. It’s extra size will be perfect for an upcoming project so I can wait to put it to work. Oh yeah, want more 600VR trivia, here you go.
I just received the latest version of the Better Beamer from Walt for the SB-900 and it is by far the best fitting version I’ve ever used. It’s great, it doesn’t slip down or move in the wind. Here’s a little video on how I use it.

So I was thinking, and that’s a very dangerous thing in itself, about the most asked questions that could be best answered by videos rather than sending folks to a web page to read. That’s when it came to me to produce a series of videos on using the lenses I have in my camera bag. So over the next month or so, I’ll keep producing and posting videos on lenses. Now we’ve made some changes to improve the video quality but sadly, the wind was a pain so there is a little wind noise at times in our better looking video. Oh well, small steps.
Then, when we were driving back from shooting this video, the winds of the incoming storm was kicking up snow off the crest and in the setting sun, well, had to make a couple of snaps. This is what I came up with.
We receive lots of emails and calls requesting the recipe for creating the web poster I use in presenting images here on the blog. Well, with the inspiration from RC this week while here at the office helping to teach You Can Do It Too, I went and finally created a movie with the action. Enjoy.

Once the glass is cleaned, ya gotta do the camera body and CCD. Here’s my approach. Follow these instructions at your own risk. One other thing that I forgot to mention in the video, after you get done cleaning the exterior of your camera body, be sure to check all your settings. For example, I typically hit the metering lever on the prism and change it out of Matrix so I always check it after cleaning. (this is a 105MB Flv video)

Print Orders
There are no refunds for prints if they are returned. Since they are autographed and archival prints, all sales are final.
Photopacks
Photopacks can be returned if it is done so within 30 days of receipt and is returned in new condition with all accessories included. Return Authorization must be obtained prior to returning in order to receive a refund.
Warranty
Photopacks are guaranteed against any material or workmanship defects for as long as you own the bag. Problems from abnormal wear or abuse, determined by the manufacturer and/or distributor is not guaranteed and all repairs are the responsibility of the bag owner. Any damage caused to gear being transported by our photopacks caused by any reason is not covered and is not the responsibility of the manufacturer or distributor.
