Did You Feel It?

It’s really all Maggie’s fault! We were out taking care of her evening “business” and she was being a typical Beagle, smelling everything and not getting the business done. I was standing there on the deck looking around when I looked down. I looked and right into a freshly bloomed Tiger Lilly. I think if there weren’t that pattern of blue behind it I wouldn’t have given it a second thought. But there was and it caught my attention. I knew I had time, the sun was already below the horizon line so I walked in and grabbed the camera. Once I put it to my eye my mind went blank, what to do? I did this and that, but nothing in the viewfinder was remotely interesting to me. Then I remembered what first drew me to the Lilly. And now you see it too but I’m sure the earth shuttered when I took it. Did you feel it?
