The new piece of gear you just purchased can only improve your photography if you know, dial and use its full potential. This means you need to learn and know that piece of gear! I’m not talking about learning how to insert the battery and turn it on, but how the meter, AF and special features operate and be of use to you. It’s like Photoshop that has a vast array of options. I don’t know them all but I sure know really well those that help my photograph. You need to do the same thing with your body. Here’s a video I shot to help you learn just your body. I hear way too often that “it’s got to be the body, I can’t be the problem” when we all know that is often not the case. Learn your gear so you don’t produce those crappy photos!
