Coop’s on Flicker captured by Z 6III / Z600f4TC w1.4 engaged and Z2X
We’ve seen this unfold quite a bit of late, it even happened literally right in front of me when I was in the Hide! This is the first time though I’ve gotten any glass on the action and this time I was shooting through the window. Argh! The mass number of flickers at The Ranch in the winter brings in predators from everywhere. We have at least two Sharpies, pretty sure a pair of Coops and one, Goshawk. We find piles of feathers every day so we know they are picking off the flickers but once they make the hit, they are super sensitive. Standing in the house looking out, walking up to a window for a better look makes them flush. This time, I at least got the tripod with the rig to the window. So while it’s progress, it was taken through the window. But we are getting closer.
