Platypod Grip
As I’ve mentioned here many times in the past, I use SnapBridge alot. Being iPhone based, I use SnapBridge for firing my cameras remotely as well as an external monitor for remote photography. How does the Platypod Grip come into play? Darn good question. Whether I have the whole unit attached directly to an eXtreme, Benro TablePod or my favorite, to just the “clamp” to an articulated arm on the Benro Mammoth, it gives me a third hand. Pushing on the iPhone to make things happen at times takes a little bit of pressure which for me requires two hands and when shooting, my hands are busy doing other things. The Grip makes it simple to operate SnapBridge with just a finger. The spring loaded “clamp” works great. I detaches from the base and screws on the the articulated quickly. It folds up into a small travel size. It’s simply and great simple tool. You gotta get a grip!
