Bison captured by Z 6II / 180-400VR
Some things about a Bison you can predict with amazing accuracy. One is their step and head. Their head will pull to either the left or right with every step. The head pulls to the side of the tailing front leg. In this case, the head is pulling left as the left front leg is in the back. I tend to always shoot with the front leg closest to the lens in the back for this reason. The gesture in the head is better and when they are walking into the light, you get that nice skim across it. A simple piece of biology you can use in your shooting.
