The call for the majority was simple, they went because … because they could make a difference, they could stop an evil in the world. At a time where information came via newspaper and radio, it was enough that thousands up thousands of boys from around the country were willing to get involved because it was the right thing to do. Seventy-eight years ago they landed on foreign soil in force from the sea and air. Today and everyday we owe them a huge thanks for making the bold choice to care and put their life on the line for the citizens of earth for freedom! Lest we forget.
