I’m by no means complaining, I’m just so confused! First day at Rancho Naturalista and thirty new lifer birds for me, eight of which are hummers. Wait, no, that’s wrong. I might all them and think of them as hummers, they are Hermits, Mango, Jacobin, and my favorite, Woodnymph. Them scientist, they are a wacky and funny group! Wrapping my mind around all the names along with identifying them has given me a huge headache as I wanted hummers and got mango!
