Have you asked yourself just what is the goal? What is the goal when you go click with that camera? I’m just suggesting here that the goal just might be, possibly, that the photograph is finished the moment you go click, click with the camera. I realize that more and more post help is announced each day to make your photographs “better.” But is the goal to get better software or, better at the camera? Each and every photographer needs to answer this question for themself and their photography. Just understand, there is nothing the states a photograph is only a photograph after it’s seen some piece of software. It is possible, I would propose that a photograph can be a photograph the moment you go click. But that might only come when that’s the goal.

If you’ve not flown of late, which many haven’t, it’s definitely not back to how it was prior to the pandemic, it’s worse! Especially today with international travel back, airports are more crowded and those working them more stressed by conditions they have no control over. You can make your travels a whole lot nicer by simply packing a smile. Go prepared to fly on the jet you’ve booked. So if you’re in a small commuter jet, don’t go with a roller as it won’t be permitted as carry-on. Go a little earlier so you’re not rushed and can easily negotiate any changes. Book your first flight at the beginning of the day to get in the system and be able to deal with changes easier. And pack that smile! All these little things add up to better photographs because you will land and not take the craziness of the airport with you which get reflected in your photographs. Remember, no matter what, it will all work out in the end. Just, pack that smile!

Snapbridge has become an important tool with my mirrorless like the Z 6II and upcoming Z9. It just keeps getting more and more powerful! For example, you can update your firmware in your Z 6II & Z 7II via Snapbridge now. One of my favorite features is its ability to add location data GPS to our files! All ya gotta do is what you see above prior to shooting. You might be thinking there should be more instruction to make this all work but it’s that simple. I’ve taken this all over North America and never had a loss of data saved to my files. It can tax your battery life a tad but it’s never been a worry for me.
