Bright & early we had the DLWS gang up and at Bryce Point. We were greeted by bald skies which has their good & bad points. Personally, and this is just a personal thing, on mornings like this I love shooting in the predawn light and than finishing the image in NX. I was just a grand morning, good shooting and great folks!

There is no doubt the photogods smiled on DLWS all week! We had an amazing last night participant show with 411 images gracing the screen. While the last evening shoot wasn’t mind boggling, Bridalveil Falls is always gorgeous. All the DLWS staff wants to thank our participants for making this our best DLWS ever! We especially want to thank our DLWS Friends for coming, especially Scott Kelby always makes things special. This time, besides doing a killer class on Lightroom, he shot a video for the Adobe Lightroom launch at DLWS. Too much fun!
I’m on my was to Alaska. I have a bunch of things to get blogged, Epson P-5000, Gitzo 5540 tripod and of course, photos from the adventure. So stay tuned!

Holly Crap! This was a morning like none other I’ve ever experienced in the valley. I don’t think there was a single flash card left unused in all of the DLWS group!

Ah….great to be back in the valley….Yosemite Valley that is! We’re here for our first DLWS of the 2007 season and it is spectacular! Fresh snow from yesterday, more snow coming tonight….hot dogs! I’ll try to post all week. Wish you were here!

Quechee Gorge was what our lenses locked on this morning. This black and white was taken by standing out on the bridge, leaning over and shooting straight down onto the rapids. Gorgeous morning of shooting!

We spent the evening at a favorite town of mine, Weston. It has a killer old mill, this is the waterfall that powers it.
