“Must-have” is a tired cliche’ but I will use it here. I received this book on Friday. Wow, what a read. I’ve only read the introduction, the first section, and began reading section two so far. There are a few things I will add to my arsenal of photography tips from what I’ve read.

Alaska Moose 22-27 Oct, 2018 $2190
This will always remain one of my alltime favorite adventures! It’s time to head back to see my northern cousin, the Alaskan Moose. In talking with colleagues up in AK, it would seem that the slow change in temps has changed the habits of the mating in the Chugach. I wanted more opportunities of Moose interacting, we’re going 10 days later in 2018. This is the one Adventure of ours where walking is a part of the shooting at least 3 days of the Adventure. The walk is not strenuous but is about 3 miles one way through some amazing country where you might see grizzly, wolf, and moose all from one spot. We will be taking six shooters on this trip. Yosemite 21-26 Feb, 2018!
Winter in Yosemite is magical that simply has to be witnessed and shared! It’s been over a decade since Sharon & I have spent winter time in Yosemite so off we’re going and we want YOU to share it with us!
This is a landscape and wildlife adventure with rocks and rabbits, falls and owls with a coyote and deer thrown in for fun. If you’ve ever been to The Valley in the summer, you will not recognize it in the winter accept such treasures as Half Dome, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls. But others like Horsetail Falls (the red falls below) Lunar Rainbow and Ice Cone only appear in February.
We’re taking eight folks on this adventure. We’ll pick you up in Sacramento so you don’t have to deal with snowy, icy roads and bring you to The Valley and then take you back to the airport. We’ll be sharing with you all our favorite and secret locales for grand views and critters. Might even treat you to a hot chocolate by the fire as we venture into the digital darkroom. Another Moose Peterson website you ask? With all the updates yesterday by Adobe, Portfolio got a big upgrade so I wanted to check it out. What you see here I created in less than five minutes. Seriously, less than 5 minutes! I’ve not spent any time to make it pretty or anything, I simply used Photoshop to create the Jpegs (using my Action), used Bridge to drag those image into Portfolio and went click. That’s it!!! Is there a catch? Yep, if you have CC, it’s FREE!!! Seriously, check it out, it maybe the portfolio website answer you were looking for.
Update: You might notice that my Portfolio doesn’t look the same now. That’s because with a simple click you can change the layout. So that’s what I did, added a couple more pages and changed the layout. Really too easy!
