The start of the day was breathtaking! The ridge and mountain tops had a dusting of new snow bringing a crispness to the air I so enjoy. I whipped out the Z30 / Z16-55 and made a number of quick clicks before heading up the trail. It was a fleeting moment that I am soooo glad I have forever in a simple click!

I’m not a “selfie” kinda guy y any means but when the nephew dropped by the family reunion, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity today!

Blue Cypress Lake Ospreys 26-31 March, 2023

As soon as you step off a plane in Florida, one of the first birds to greet you are Osprey. Once on the verge of extinction, their comeback is nothing short of remarkable. We’ve had the opportunity on many of our Adventures to photograph Osprey, but we’ve never had an Adventure just for Osprey. Well, that’s changing in 2023 as we’re taking our cameras and passion to the legendary Blue Cypress Lake!

The dates 26-31 March, 2023 we have a private boat with Blue Cypress Lake Osprey for four morning of photographing Osprey. Located on a gorgeous lake, these folks have been taking photographers out for a long time to photograph the cast population of nesting Osprey. Nesting on Cypress Trees, our timing is set for when the chicks hatch. From a large platoon boat, we cruise the lake at sunrise to photograph all the activity at all the nests. Some are high, some are low, some have 1 chick, some have a lot more. From flight to fishing to feeding to fun, we’ll photograph Osprey like we have never done before! This is another two lens Adventure, Z400f4.5 & Z24-120. And after we get off the lake, we will be right back out after Breakie photographing more FL Birds! The price includes transportation once you land in Orlando until you’re taken back, boat and captain/guide, education, preAdventure Packet and entertainment is $2850. I am taking four – five shooters, all the seats we have on the boat. I look forward to sharing this great Adventure with you!
