It’s the time of year when storms seem to pile up one after another providing us with dramatic backdrops for static shoots. Sunsets are the best to work with as they provide time to stage, find aircraft, find angles and the like where as sunrises, it’s a scramble even on good days. I use the app Flightradar24 which most use traditionally to watch aircraft. It can be set though to see clouds, exact formation and density making predicting sunsets a whole lot easier. That helps us be in the right place at the right time to to chase them storms!
