Rocky Mtn Bighorn Sheep rams captured by Z 9 / Z600f4TC @840mm
I’m talking about me, the Rocky Mtn Bighorn Sheep I don’t think even notice it! It’s that time of year when they are down from their high mountain range and herded up in their annual rut. The yearlings were bouncing around off the rocks, ewes were grazing while the rams checked them out. This pair of rams I honestly think were wondering why I was standing out in the driving snow as it pilled up on me and the gear. The snow kept getting heavier and heavier to the point the sheep disappeared from view. Just that start of a promising winter frolicking in the snow!
