Yosemite Valley captured by Z 6 / Z24-70
El Niño is here and with it is, goofed up wx, still! A good example is here in the banana belt of MT, we have no snow on the ground when we should have a foot by now. The tops of the Bitterroots and Sapphires are pretty and white, but not at our altitude. Yellowstone has snow but only about half of normal. And Yosemite is all pretty and white valley floor to the top of Half Dome and that’s a bit early. The point? If you have a trip planned to a visually romantic locale where is a part of the romance and at this moment, there is no snow, don’t cancel your trip! Stay with your plans, have faith and know that it will all turn out just fine. Might not be exactly what you had pictured in your mind but you will find that picture in the viewfinder once on site. It’s all apart of winter photography always wondering for your trip, got snow?
