Rocky Mtn Bighorn captured by Z 9 / Z600f4 TC w/Z1.4x @1680

When the ewe and ram band come together in the fall, there are periods of intense activities and calm. There is a constant intake of grasses by the sheep which requires them after some time to lay and chew their cud and when this happens I look for unique match ups. This time on the rise in front of us I saw this yearling ram bedded down behind one of the bigger rams. Who knows, they could be related so I wanted to tell that story. I attached the Z1.4x onto the Z600f4 TC which was engaged using the 1680mm to isolate the two. The fun was how their chewing was in sync for a short time. That’s what brought the thought, like father, like son?
