The DLWS family, Joe, Laurie, Kevin, Sharon, Jake, Drew, and I are all back together causing havoc, this time in a new state. So with all in tow, off we went this afternoon scouting. We went to one of my favorite places in the state to shoot. Where is that? Well, you’ll have to stay tuned this week to discover that.

This corner of an old Pullman rail car really grabbed my attention. It was the orange colored paint peels that originally got hold of me. The above photo is where I started but with nothing being squared to nothing, my original thoughts went out the window so I turned to Infrared. The bottom photo is more of a hint of what I was thinking but it’s just a small portion of the upper photo.

Than there is the basics. The aging process of the Montana plains brings wood to life. This old home is just a small sampling of the character that is born from life here. It’s very unique and special. But just like the train car, nothing is square.
