Laughing Gulls capture by Z 9 / Z600f4 TC @840mm
It’s not so much a rule but words of wisdom. It goes like this. You watch a gull, any gull for ten minutes straight, within those ten minutes the gull will do something silly, stupid, interesting that will make a good photo. Now watching an individual gull for ten minutes is a challenge to start with but there is always a reward. In this case, I watched the juvenile Laughing Gull on the post and about five minutes later, another Laughing Gull wanted its spot. The resulting confrontation created the photo you see. Simple, the gull ten minute rule.
