Kevin, Sharon & I are in upper NY, Lake Placid area goofing off while we scout for our upcoming DLWS. This is a new area for us so we are having a blast traveling all the back roads saying hello to this gorgeous piece of our country. It was a mostly cloudy / rainy day which was perfect for apple cider / fudge / cheese sampling. And, got out a few times to make some clicks. Around noon we came to Ausable Chasm, a fascinating geologic formation with one heck of a waterfall. These are from the first place we pulled over and got out. They are ok, I know there’s better, just need a little help from the light. I’ve gone to LO.05 and attached a polarizer to pull down the shutter speed four stops. Time is needed…
