Mixed Shorebird Flock captured by Z 9 / Z600f4TC w/Z2x
My pursuit of the Red Knot took me back to Delaware last month. They were there but mixed in with other shorebirds. How to tell that story visually? Mother Nature helped out a bunch by having the flocks on this beach that had a slight rise. The rise was enough so you could see the next row of birds upon row of birds upon row of birds. At the same time, Mother Nature provided the cloud cover s,o the contrast wasn’t harsh. The combination created a really fun photo telling the story of spring migration.
