Wimberley F-1 Flash Bracket on Z600f4 TC
When I added the Z600f4 TC to the gear locker, I had one issue, a flash bracket. My favorite that I’ve used for so long it’s now discontinued won’t attach to any foot. It was a real concern and one that had me looking and looking, in the shop hacking with NO luck. Then I was looking in an old flash accessory bin and I found the Wimberley F-9 and that sent my mind spinning. Not that the F-9 would work but going back to the original F-1, that would work perfectly. The hunt was on for my F-1, I tore all sorts of bins a part looking for the parts. Turned out I was missing just one. I went to the Wimberley website and there it was, I could still order it! It’s a rock, serves the purpose and them some and it’s still available. I’m so happy to have the problem solved. Great to know that the Wimberley F-1 and old school still works great!
