Short-billed Dowitcher captured by Z 9 / Z600f4TC

There is a kinda secret spot on the east coast where shorebirds fallout on their southern migration in fall. Most, still in their breeding plumage from the tundra, fuel up at Folly before heading down to Florida and then across the pond to South America. Long on my list of locales to haunt with a camera is Folly Beach, SC. Yes, Folly is the real name. With over five hundred species of birds having been seen at Folly, it is an active spot. It’s a place for long glass, beach panning, flight panning and birds of all sizes, shapes and color. I’d love to share the Adventure with you so am inviting you to join me.

Here’s some of the detail. We are looking for four folks to explore with us 27 Sept – 02 Oct, 2026 Folly Beach. The price is $2150 which includes pickup and delivery from Charleston (CHS) SC airport, transportation, education and entertainment. We’d love for you to join us and if you’re intrigued and want to do that, we are grateful. You can reach out to Sharon 406. 240. 3503 and she’ll hook you up.
