“Where Ya Been?”

I’ve been on the road for a few weeks, so this morning was the first in a long time to make the rounds at The Ranch. I always have apples in my pockets in case the neighbors drop by. First, it was the doe with twins who emptied one pocket, and then it was Precocious, who was born in our front grass two years ago. I’m amazed, just stunned by how big a rach he has already at two. Is it from the steady diet of apples? That I doubt but when he saw me, there was no doubt he was wondering, where ya been?
