The Mountains are Calling!

Absaroka Mountains captured by Z 8 / Z180-600

No two mountains are the same, each one having their own characteristics, charm and inhabitants. While I live just a few mountain ranges to the west, I so look forward and enjoy venturing through each and every one for their own uniqueness. What will they share with me this week? The mountains are calling!

Prepping for Cold Shooting

4e Speedmail captured by Z 6 / Z24-70f4

My mind is kinda spinning this morning, so much good stuff happening, I’m grateful and inspired. My mind wandered to a presentation for next April, so I went to pull images for it. Then I came to this moment. The image brought me to thinking about an upcoming January shoot on the ramp. I went back to the Nefs from this 2019 shoot and saw this one I hadn’t finished yet. Like I said, my mind was spinning. I remembered how the twelve-degree temp on the ramp didn’t help the clock; everyone wanted to get back to warmth. It affected the lamp I was light painting with. It barely touched the Speedmail in this click after spending a short time inside my jacket. After all this mind spinning I looked up my notes from this shoot, made some additions based on finishing this time, all in prep for this coming January on what will surely be a cold ramp. Long way around the pattern prepping for cold shooting.
